Colorado Fall Road Trip - Day #1

This past Thursday I was suppose to leave to go on a some-what epic backpacking trip. That trip got canceled, but I still really needed to get out of town and have some sort of an adventure. Thursday afternoon I packed up my RAV4 and pointed her towards the mountains. Wasn't sure where I was going to go, but was going to let the open road decide. I-70 West was where I started going then I saw this lake/Dillon Reservoir. I decided to drive around it it. On the south/east side there is a trail the I decided to take. It was very mellow and short, but provided me with some amazing views.
