Food Photography Distractions

Distractions.

I love cats. No I am not a cat lady and nor do I own any. But on a truly bad day nothing makes my heart melt and puts a smile on my face like holding a fuzzy little kitty. 

Yes, I'm mushing when I talk about cats, but only certain ones. A good friend of mine lets me use her kitchen for food photo shoots (because my kitchen is too small and has bad lighting). But it is so hard to focus on shooting photos of food when I have these two cats just laying around in picture purfect poses. They also have their own poses and reactions whenever I hold up the camera to take photos of them.
